Chance has been with us since 2016, he is a graduate of Michigan Tech, holding a B.S in Forestry as well as a minor in Ecology. When he’s not working in the woods, he enjoys playing intramural hockey, bow hunting, fly fishing, and kayaking with his dog, Molly. Braedon is a graduate of Mancelona High School and has been on board with us since 2017, he and his family have worked in the north woods of Michigan for 6 generations. He comes from a long line of timbermen and knows right from wrong when it comes to working in the woods. In his off time, he enjoys hunting and fishing. Robert is a graduate of Mesick High School and has been in the wood business for over 28 years. He’s worked inside mills and in the woods so he understands what we can do with a good stand of timber to make it even better. Some of Robert’s hobbies include hunting,  fishing, and boating with his wife, Amy, as well as following the University of Michigan’s football team, where his children attend.

Wes Fay

Wes is married with four beautiful children. His hobbies include hunting and trapping as well as woodworking and art. He has worked in the wood industry for over 7 years buying timber and logs. His specialty is improving our customer’s timber stands for future harvests. He has a long-term outlook on every stand he gets a chance to look at and works with a tight network of loggers and haulers to give his customer’s great quality and consistency.

Gabe Witner

Gabe is the newest addition to our procurement staff at Silver Leaf. A graduate of Michigan Tech, he holds a degree in Forestry and a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management.  He has seen a variety of forest types and management practices around the country.
